Baths in the kitchen sink

My boy, at 10 months old, is a messy eater.  Sadly, the messier the food, the more he likes it.  Thus, quick baths in the kitchen sink are a fairly regular occurence.  This also makes him happy.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go and use at least 5 towels to dry my kitchen.

Breakfast

Breakfast, in our house, is almost always total chaos.

I run around like a lunatic trying to find clean socks, a clean bib, a hairbrush and Joo's helmet while trying to coerce my sleepy 4 year old to hurry up and eat her breakfast while I put Ali in his pram.

On the weekends, however, when it is just me and Ali that are awake, breakfast looks a little more like this

And I know that life is good.

Five Things

1.  Clearly I go through phases of things.  Like this blog.  This would probably explain many of the issues in my life.

2.  The entire family now has the cold.  This sucks, as I get less sympathy than anyone, because everyone is busy  looking for sympathy from me.

3.  My teeny tiny baby is now 6 months old.

4.  I made the best scones ever yesterday.  I'll make a post about them later, because they were all eaten in record time so there are no pictures.  Making a post about them means making more scones.

5.  Thanks to the recent wet weather my plants are flourishing.  Yay for me not killing them all!

6.  I love baby feet, they are delicious and lovely.

That was really six things but I have the cold so no complaining!

The many faces of Julia

Sometimes Julia gets fed up of me taking so many pictures and makes silly faces.

This is what I end up with!

I love my wee girl.  Even if she says I am filled with cake.

I love Black and White

Does anything make a picture more beautiful and timeless?

I photographed my sister in law's 21st, and my favourite pictures are the ones that ended up in black and white.

How gorgeous does that look?!

Aahhh, black and white makes me happy.

Project 365

So I'm having a go at project 365; a photo a day for a year.  Today is day 48.  So far it's been ok, taking the pictures is easy enough, but uploading and editing them every day will get old pretty quick.

So far this is probably one of my favourites.

I also have a couple of secret personal projects in the works, which will be unveiled in due course, so watch this space!

When it comes to blogging regularly...

I fail.
